All wooden pegs look so much better on the loom.
6mm wooden pegs have a 2.5mm threading hole while 9mm pegs have a 3mm one. This is to keep as much strength in the peg as possible.
We used to use nylon 6mm pegs as being very durable but price increases of raw materials (up over 100%) and the labour involved in making them persuaded us to go back to supplying all wooden pegs.
